Mayor McFascist Bloomberg Pledges Millions to Infringe Second Amendment

The $12 million ad blitz targeting senators wavering on gun control will be just the beginning, Mayor McFascist Bloomberg warned Sunday.

“I have a responsibility to try to make this country safer,” Bloomberg said on “Meet the Press” when asked if he’d spend big-time in next year’s elections to target the National Rifle Association and members of Congress for opposing gun restrictions.

“If I can do that by spending some money, and taking the NRA from being the only voice to being one of the voices, so the public can really understand the issues, then I think my money will be well spent and I think I have an obligation to do that,” he said.

“If 90% of the public wants something, and their representatives vote against that, common sense says they are going to have a price to pay for that,” Bloomberg said, referring to the proportion of people polls show support universal background checks.

Bloomberg launched the ad campaign, which will start airing today, in a dozen states where Bloomberg believes key senators can be swayed. The ad features a rifle-toting hunter making the case for background checks.

“I don’t think there’s ever been an issue where the public has spoken so clearly where Congress hasn’t eventually understood and done the right thing,” he said.

Banning assault weapons, Bloomberg acknowledged, will be a tougher sell. “I don’t think we should give up on the assault weapons ban, but clearly it is a more difficult issue for a lot of people,” he said.

Senate leaders have stripped the assault weapons ban out of the main gun control plan that will go to the floor, though it will get an up or down vote as an amendment that is likely to fail.

Bloomberg continues to stand on the graves of murdered children to advance his political agenda to disarm law abiding citizens in violation of the Second Amendment.  “It would be a great tragedy for this country and for tens of thousands of lives if (the opportunity) is lost,” he said. We’re trying to do everything we can to impress upon the senators that this is what the survivors (of Newtown) want, this is what the public wants.”

In a separate appearance on “Meet the Press,” NRA Executive Vice President Wayne LaPierre pointed out how unpopular Bloomberg has become throughout the country.  “They don’t want him in their restaurants, they don’t want him in their restaurants, they don’t want him in their food, they don’t want him telling them what food to eat, they sure don’t want him telling them what self-defense firearms to own,” he said. “He can’t buy America.”

LaPierre said that small checks have been pouring into the NRA from people put off by Bloomberg.  “We have people all over, millions of people sending us five-, 10-, 15-, 20-dollar checks saying, ‘Stand up to this guy.’”

LaPierre insisted the debate over universal background checks rests on a “dishonest premise”  because criminals won’t follow the law.  “Criminals aren’t going to be checked,” he said. “They’re not going to do this. The shooters in Tucson, in Aurora, in Newtown, they’re not going to be checked.  It slows down the law abiding, and does nothing for anybody else.

Bloombergs blitz, which will saturate television screens in states including Ohio, Pennsylvania, North Carolina, North Dakota, Louisiana and Arizona, represents the biggest escalation of his attempts to control politics outside of New York.  Among the targets of the ad are Democratic senators Kay Hagan of North Carolina, Mary L. Landrieu of Louisiana, Mark L. Pryor of Arkansas, and Heidi Heitkamp of North Dakota.

Heres a plan. Expose the hypocrisy of the liberal fascist ruling class and their billionaire benefactors. The formal Hypocrite is very justly compared with a Nightingale. She is more in sound than in substance, a loud and excellent voice, but a little despicable body. - WELLINS CALCOTT, Thoughts Moral and Divine

If Satan ever laughs, it must be at hypocrites; they are the greatest dupes he has; they serve him better than any others, and receive no wages.
