Former Justice of Peace Will be Charged in Kaufman County DA Murders

CBS 11 in Dallas is reporting that Former Justice of the Peace Eric Williams will be charged with capital murder in the deaths of Mike and Cynthia McLelland, and Mark Hasse.

Williams was booked into Kaufman County Jail early Saturday morning for making terroristic threats and “insufficient bond.” He’s being held on a $3 million bond.

Williams had a history with both Mike McLelland and Mark Hasse. The two prosecuted and secured a conviction against him back in 2012 for Burglary and Theft By A Public Servant. Surveillance cameras caught Williams taking computer equipment from a county building. As part of his appeal, Williams claimed McClelland and Hasse didn’t like him.

On January 31, 2013 Chief Kaufman County Prosecutor Mark Hasse was shot in the parking lot of the department of motor vehicles, which is across the street from the county courthouse. Hasse was walking to his office, from the parking lot, when he was assaulted by an unknown person and “shot multiple times.”

Kaufman County District Attorney Mike McLelland and his wife were found dead inside their Forney home two months later.  The District Attorney was shot multiple times and Cynthia McLelland was shot once.  There were no signs of forced entry found at the home.

On Friday an FBI evidence response team and state and local law enforcement officers searched the home of Eric Williams in connection with the Kaufman County murders.

Law Enforcement officers previously questioned Williams and tested him for gunpowder following the murder of Kaufman County Assistant District Attorney Mark Hasse in January and again after the murders of Kaufman County District Attorney Mark McLelland and his wife, Cynthia in March.

The TRUTH About Guns In America

The College Politico recently posted Gun Facts You Need to Know “From the RIGHT Side of Campus”. If you click on the site , you can read the source of all these FACTS about Guns in the United States:

270 Million civilian owned guns – this comes directly from the most recent Small Arms Survey which is conducted by the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies and studies civilian ownership of guns throughout the world.

89 civilian owned guns per 100 residents – this also comes directly from the most recent Small Arms Survey.

I should note that, given the tens of millions of gun purchases since Obama was elected in 2008, these numbers need to be updated.

The US is #1 in the world when it comes to gun ownership – this too comes directly from the most recent Small Arms Survey.

The US doesn’t even crack the top 25 in gun murder rate – this comes from information provided by the UN’s Office on Drugs and Crime and compiled by the Guardian.

77.3% of justifiable homicides committed by civilians involved a gun – this statistic comes from the FBI’s most recent uniform crime report which states that 201 of the 260 total justified homicides in 2011 involved a firearm.

99.2% of justifiable homicides committed by police involved a gun – this statistic also comes from the FBI’s most recent uniform crime report which states that 390 of the 393 total justified homicides in 2011 involved a firearm.

2.5 Million incidents of defensive gun use per year in the US – This stat comes from the National Self-Defense Survey which was conducted by Gary Kleck and Marc Gertz in 1995.

Rifles were involved in fewer homicides in 2011 than blunt objects, fists, and knives – This stat is taken from the FBI’s most recent uniform crime report which states that there were 323 homicides involving rifles in 2011 while there were 496 involving blunt objects, 728 involving fists, and 1694 involving knives.

1.5x more homicides were committed with blunt objects than rifles - This stat is also taken from the FBI’s most recent uniform crime report which states that there were 323 homicides involving rifles in 2011 while there were 496 involving blunt objects.

2.2x more homicides were committed with fists than rifles - This stat is also taken from the FBI’s most recent uniform crime report which states that there were 323 homicides involving rifles in 2011 while there were 728 involving fists.

5.2x more homicides were committed with knives than rifles - This stat is also taken from the FBI’s most recent uniform crime report which states that there were 323 homicides involving rifles in 2011 while there were 1694 involving knives.

2.6% of murders in 2011 involved rifles (including AR-15s) - This stat was also compiled using the FBI’s most recent uniform crime report which states that there were 323 homicides involving rifles in 2011 while there were 12,664 total homicides that year.

Progressives are not the loyal opposition, which existed in our two party system for so long. They are subversives who are out to fundamentally change America, Obama’s words not mine. Their primary tactic is distributing Progressive Propaganda via intentionally false and distorted talking points.

The White House supplies the daily talking points and the majority of both the broadcast, print and entertainment media run with it. MSNBC is the primary broadcast outlet of the Obamanation. The liberal fascists among us, pick it up and distribute the collective group think via social media, the education systems in every state and word of mouth.

Don’t ever underestimate the power of propaganda. Never forget that Hitler was overwhelmingly elected and supported by the voters because of the successful propaganda machine in Nazi Germany.

“I ask, Sir, what is the militia? It is the whole people. To disarm the people is the best and most effectual way to enslave them.” -George Mason Co-author of the Second Amendment during Virginia’s Convention to Ratify the Constitution, 1788

Kaufman County Texas District Attorney Mike McLelland, Wife Murdered in their Home

Kaufman County’s district attorney and his wife were found slain Saturday, raising fears that their deaths may be part of a plot that included the death of one of the county’s assistant district attorneys in January.

Kaufman Police Chief Chris Aulbaugh and other officials confirmed that Mike McLelland and his wife, Cynthia Woodward McLelland, had been shot at their home near Forney.  McLelland, 63, and his wife, 65, who worked as a psychiatric nurse at Terrell State Hospital, had five children, including a son who is a Dallas police officer.

Kaufman County Texas is a county located southeast of Dallas.  The county has a population of 103,350 accourding to 2010 Census. Kaufman County is part of the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex.

Their deaths followed the Jan. 31 slaying of Assistant District Attorney Mark Hasse outside the Kaufman County Courthouse. He was shot to death as he walked from his car to the courthouse Jan. 31. Witnesses saw a dark brown or silver sedan, perhaps a Ford Taurus, fleeing the scene, and authorities soon issued a bulletin for two black-clad men who may have been wearing tactical vests.

A law enforcement official who spoke on condition of anonymity described the scene at the McLellands’ home as an awful scene where the door appeared to have been kicked in.

“There are shell casings everywhere,” the official told the Dallas Morning News . “This is unprecedented. This is unbelievable. This is huge.”

Some of the McLellands’ neighbors said they believed the couple may have been killed late Friday. Some thought they had heard loud noises then but had assumed what they heard was thunder from storms passing through the area.

In December, the Texas Department of Public Safety had issued a statewide bulletin warning that authorities had received “credible information” that the Aryan Brotherhood was “actively planning retaliation against law enforcement officials” who helped secure indictments in Houston against dozens of members, including the gang’s leadership.

“High ranking members … are involved in issuing orders to inflict ‘mass casualties or death’ to law enforcement officials who were involved in cases where Aryan Brotherhood of Texas are facing life sentences or the death penalty,” the bulletin stated.

Australia Warns USA - Gun Confiscation Increases Violent Crime

Government officials and citizens in Australia speak out to warn America “Don’t Let Them Take Your Guns!” According to reports when the Gun Ban went into effect in Australia the crime rate spiraled out of control. The police officers are overwhelmed and are unable to protect the citizens due to so much crime.

When the forced gun ban (buy back program) went into effect law abiding citizens had to turn in their semi automatic firearms, pump action shotguns, rifles and all handguns or face going to jail. Six hundred forty thousand conventional firearms were taken out of the hands of law abiding citizens, confiscated and destroyed. Law abiding citizens followed the law and turned in their weapons. Citizens were promised safety in return for turning in their guns. Does any of this sound familiar, like UN Gun Treaty perhaps?

Since the gun ban in Australia, armed robberies are up 69%, assaults with guns up 28%, gun murders increased 19%, and home invasions jumped 21%. More proof that not only does gun control not work, it makes it safer for the criminals at large. In their words

“The cost of lost liberty can be measured in the loss of life”

Andy Dunn from the South Australian Police Association states “The bad guys are happy to break into somebody’s house. They are not frightened to break into somebody’s house while their at home.” He also states “It is very bad right now. It has never been worse.” The police can’t protect the civilians now, because they are undermanned and their morale has never been lower according to reports.

Wake up America! To those Anti-gun activists, you need to realize this is going to affect you also. Wake up before it is too late. Will the United States listen to the warning Australia is sending us? Will it make a difference? I truly hope so.

I would like to thank the Australians for taking the time to warn us about the effects of gun-control in their country. Although many of us already know what affect gun control has on our nation. Others seem to be of the mind set that it doesn’t affect them.  But without our right to bear arms, to protect ourselves, our family, and our home, we will be Australia.

After a shooting spree, they always want to take the guns away from the people who didn’t do it. I sure as hell wouldn’t want to live in a society where the only people with guns are criminals, cops and crazies.  In fact, if they left gets their way, even the police may be unarmed like they are in China, the United Kingdom, Ireland and other countries where the hoplophobe culture reigns.

Freedom requires firearms.

Nevada Gaming Control Board Enforcement Division Turning Up the Heat at Las Vegas SportsBooks

At approximately 6:00 am, Wednesday morning, the Nevada State Gaming Control Board’s Enforcement Division, working with the New York Police Department, the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the Queens County District Attorney’s Office, participated in the service of search warrants and the arrest of multiple individuals in connection with a major national bookmaking investigation.

Approximately 30 Agents of the Gaming Control Board (GCB), with officers and agents from the NYPD and the FBI, participated in the early morning service of several search and arrest warrants at locations across the Las Vegas Valley. In addition, numerous betting accounts and deposit boxes were also searched in conjunction with the case. A total of 8 arrests were made in Las Vegas on New York warrants charging the suspects with over 110 counts related to illegal bookmaking activity associated with an Operation dubbed “World Wide Wagers” by the NYPD’s Organized Crime Control Bureau.

Earlier this month, the District Attorney’s Office in Queens County, New York presented their case to the Grand Jury which returned a 259 page indictment charging 25 individuals with 225 counts of violations of the New York Penal Code, including Enterprise Corruption, Money Laundering, Promoting Gambling and Conspiracy.

The GCB’s Enforcement Division has been working with the NYPD on this case for the past 15 months. In their investigation, which began in 2011, the NYPD discovered a large scale bookmaking operation, with ties to traditional organized crime, operating in several states as well as at off shore locations. They also determined that there was a significant Las Vegas connection and, having worked together on several previous bookmaking cases, contacted the GCB for assistance. The Enforcement Division’s Special Investigation Section’s primary responsibility in the investigation was to conduct surveillance on known suspects, identify unknown subjects, observe money drops and exchanges, and identify accounts and safe deposit boxes being utilized by the suspects.

Those individuals indicted and living in the Las Vegas area include: Brandt England age 49 of Las Vegas, Paul Sexton age 29 of Henderson, Jerald M. Branca age 67 of Las Vegas, Joseph Paulk age 35 of Las Vegas, Michael Colbert age 32 of Las Vegas, Steven Diano age 48 of Las Vegas, Ian W. Mandel age 43 of Las Vegas, and Kelly Barsel age 42 of Las Vegas. Charges in the indictment include: Enterprise Corruption, Promoting Gambling, Money Laundering and Conspiracy.

Seven homes were searched yesterday and numerous wagering accounts and safe deposit boxes were either searched or frozen. Thus far over $2.8 million in cash and chips has been seized or secured in Las Vegas.

Based on the information, which has been and is still being obtained, the Gaming Control Board is continuing its investigation into potential statutory and regulatory violations in Nevada.
