Adam Carolla - Not Taco Bell Material

We went to the Adam Carolla and Dennis Prager conversation at the Majestic Theater last night.  A good time was had by all.  Adam is a funny and talented guy with good insight into the welfare state, which is fostered by liberal fascists.

You can learn more about Adam by listening to the Howard Stern clip below.  Adams latest book is Not Taco Bell Material.  Adam is a solid American patriot, an entrepreneur and a libertarian with strong conservative values. He started his broadcast career working for free at a radio station where Jimmy Kimmel did sports.  Carolla and Kimmel are still close friends.  Adam has appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live more times than any other guest.

Buy the book, listen to his podcast and enjoy the clip below.  We need more Hollywood celebrities like Adam Carolla , a Southern California native, who gets it.  The vast majority of Hollywood, the main stream media and our educators (from kindergarten to college) are breeders of American political correctness, the cancer of freedom.  Carolla is one of the few in Hollywood who is not afraid to call out the leftists who are destroying America.

PC Cancer is Destroying Fairness and Freedom in America

A Dallas Police Sergeant brought a sandwich from Chick-Fil-A chain work with him last Wednesday, August 1.

When the Sergeant arrived at his post at the Southeast patrol, words were exchanged with two lesbian officers who took exception to his support of Chick-Fil-A Appreciation Day.

It is unclear who started the argument, but its clear that being gay or lesbian gives citizens special status in what is now PC America.

The Dallas Police Association, who represents all three of the officers, say they are getting two versions of the story, and while they are neutral on the issue, the association is frustrated by a move made by the department before an investigation is complete.

According to CBS 11, the DPA points out the two female officers are lesbians. They also point out that the sergeant was responsible for reading the evening bulletins to all officers in the Southeast patrol that evening, including information on possible crowd control issues at Chick-Fil-A’s in the area.

The association says what concerns them most is that before the internal investigation into the matter was resolved the sergeant was moved to a midnight shift at the Lew Sterret Justice Center, which the association views as punishment.

The Dallas Police Association says it is pushing for mediation in the incident between all three officers, but as of this point, that has not occurred because in todays America, straight people are discriminated against not gay people.

As a Libertarian I support equal civil rights for all.  This includes the civil benefits of marriage, which I believe should be available to any two people leaving in a free country, regardless of sexual orientation.

But I dont support giving any group special rights and privileges due to their religion, race or sexual orientation.  Political correctness gives gays in America today, what amounts to affirmative action.  Dallas Police have decided to circumvent due process in favor of political correctness.  This has become a national trend.

Debbie Schlussel  broke the story about New York’s top Homeland Security cop James T. Hayes’ explosive employment discrimination lawsuit against Department of Homeland Security chief Janet Napolitano ,which has gone viral internationally.

Equal opportunity not equal outcome is the promise of America.  You dont get more freedom of speech because of your status as a minority. Affirmative action is a policy that takes factors including race, color, religion, gender, sexual orientation, or national origin  into consideration in order to benefit an a minority group in areas of employment, education, and business in violation of the United States Constitution.

The Fifth and Fourteenth Amendments to the United States Constitution each contain a Due Process Clause. The Supreme Court of the United States interprets the Clauses as providing four protections: procedural due process (in civil and criminal proceedings), substantive due process, a prohibition against vague laws, and as the vehicle for the incorporation of the Bill of Rights.

This protection extends to all government proceedings that can result in an individuals deprivation, whether civil or criminal in nature, from parole violation hearings to administrative hearings regarding government benefits and entitlements to full-blown criminal trials.

Equal treatment and equality before the law—these are the foundations on which a just and free society is built. But there are some today who, in the name of equality, would have us practice discrimination. They have turned our civil rights laws on their head, claiming they mean exactly the opposite of what they say. These people tell us that the Government should enforce discrimination in favor of some groups through hiring quotas, under which people get or lose particular jobs or promotions solely because of their race or sex. Some bluntly assert that our civil rights laws only apply to special groups and were never intended to protect every American.  Well, they couldnt be more wrong. -President Ronald Reagan

Get Rid of Obamacare by Getting Rid of Obama

I dont agree with Chief Justice John Roberts and the majority decision on the Affordable Health Care Act. But I do agree that Obamacare is ObamaTax. The job of the Supreme Court is not to legislate but to protect the Constitution and our Bill of Rights.

We the people are responsible for electing the liberal statists that enacted the laughable Affordable Care Act.  There is nothing affordable about it. Its the largest tax increase on middle America in my lifetime.

Its ironic that Democrats including Obama, told us hundreds of times that Obamacare was not a tax. Obamacare would lower health care costs. The CBO cost estimate is now over twice what Obama told us it would be.  Multiply that number by ten for the real cost.

Justice Roberts and the majority found the law constitutional because its a tax. It is a well established precedent that the government has virtually unlimited taxing power.  Its our job as citizens and voters to elect representatives that wont tax us to death.  Tax laws are easily changed and we have elections for the House every other year.

Its not the job of the Supreme Court to bail us out because we dont take our electoral duties seriously or made bad choices.  Roberts has supported the Bill of Rights before, including Second Amendment civil rights.  Hes not a judical activist.  Any judge that Obama appoints at any federal level is both a liberal and a judicial activist.  Were stuck with all of them for life! Would you rather have Romney or Obama appointing judges?

Its time for the people to do their job.  We must elect Constitutionally sound Representatives who represent the will of the people.  If we fail, we have nobody to blame but ourselves. Romney is far from perfect. The GOP made a poor choice as usual.  But it is what it is and its him or Obama.

If the ObamaCareTax and the arrogant, above the law, Attorney General Eric Holder, who was held in criminal contempt of Congress today, dont fire you up to support, campaign for and contribute to candidates committed to following the Constitution, than nothing will. Its not like the Democrats took over by force.  Sure they support voter fraud, but even without those votes, Obama wins in 2008.

Im a Libertarian and I will vote for GOP candidate Ted Cruz to represent Texas in the U.S. Senate.  Hes a libertarian leaning conservative.  Its either him or RINO Dewhurst. Dewhurst represents everything wrong with the GOP.

I contributed to the Romney Campaign to support the full repeal of the ObamaCareTax today.  This Presidential election wont be decided by Texas. Neither candidate runs TV ads here.  Texas has been written off as a red state.  The presidential battle in Texas has already been won by Romney.

Im voting for LP nominee Gary Johnson.  Romney will get the Texas Electoral votes.  If that changes and Obama has any chance of taking Texas, I would hold my nose and vote for Romney. Obama is that bad.

Ohio, Florida, Nevada, North Carolina, Wisconsin, Michigan, West Virginia and the other swing states is where my contributions will go.  You dont have that luxury of voting Libertarian in the swing states that will determine the outcome of the election.

Im a practical Libertarian and a proud Tea Party patriot.  I dont agree with my conservative friends on every issue but we agree on the most important issues and all of us are fighting to defend this nation from the tyranny of liberal fascism.

The Supreme Court woke up a sleeping giant today.  This fight is just getting started. Join the NRA and spend a few dollars to support candidates like Ted Cruz in Texas if you want to defeat the ObamaCareTax.  The Democrats have Obamacare now.  Theyre coming after your guns next.

Criminals obey gun control laws in the same manner politicians follow their oaths of office.

Libertarians Believe in the Constitution as Written by the Founders

Most of the people in the United States now think government can pass laws to keep them safe.  Weve been brain washed by Hollywood and the main stream media to believe that he more government does, they better life is for everyone.

The education system has failed America. This Obamanation happened because instead of teaching math, science and history, the schools have indoctrinated students with a sense of political correctness, the cancer destroying America. Its the education system and the media that instilled a sense of entitlement and dependency on our post World War II generations, which laid the foundation for the Statist culture of Marxism, that is administered by the Ruling Class in America today.

I know that Im part of the the smallest minority in America because I believe in, and pursue, personal freedom while maintaining personal responsibility.  I strongly oppose government interfering in personal, family and business decisions.  Essentially, I believe all Americans should be free to live their lives and pursue their interests as they see fit as long as they do no harm to another.

America was founded on the the principles of liberty and freedom. Yet today the only political party in America that believes in these principles is the Libertarian Party.  Both the Democrats and Republicans think were the crazy uncle who you need to keep hidden away from the rest of the family.

Unlike liberals or conservatives, Libertarians advocate a high degree of both personal and economic liberty and responsibly.  Libertarians advocate freedom in economic matters, so were in favor of lowering taxes, slashing bureaucratic regulation on business, and charitable rather than government welfare.

But Libertarians are also the most tolerant people in America.  We wont demand laws or restrictions on other people who we may not agree because of personal actions or lifestyles.  We dont care what color you are, if youre religious or what you do in your bedroom.  We also dont give you extra points and privileges because of your race, color, religion or sexual orientation.

Think of Libertarians as a group of people with a live and let live mentality and a balanced checkbook.  By the way, when I say we are the smallest minority in America, Im no exaggerating. There are 311,591,917 people in the USA, yet less than 250,000 of them are Libertarians.  We have no voice because we are ignored by the main stream media, yet we believe in the same principles as our countrys Founding Fathers.  We believe in the Constitution the same as Christians and Jews believe in the Bible and Muslims in the Koran. A true follower cant pick and choose the parts they like and disregard the ones they dont.

The principles of liberty and freedom are the foundation of our country.  Both the Democrats and the Republicans are destroying the greatest country in the world.   If you believe the U.S. Constitution is the foundation of liberty and freedom, and the Supreme law of the land, you cant be happy with either of the two political parties.

It is not the business of government to make men virtuous or religious, or to preserve the fool from the consequences of his own folly. Government should be repressive no further than is necessary to secure liberty by protecting the equal rights of each from aggression on the part of others, and the moment governmental prohibitions extend beyond this line they are in danger of defeating the very ends they are intended to serve. – Henry George

A wise and frugal government which shall restrain men from injuring one another, which shall leave them otherwise free to regulate their own pursuits of industry and improvement, and shall not take from the mouth of labor the bread it has earned. This is the sum of good government. – Thomas Jefferson (1801)

There is no worse tyranny than to force a man to pay for what he does not want merely because you think it would be good for him. – Robert Heinlein

One of the greatest delusions in the world is the hope that the evils in this world are to be cured by legislation. – Thomas B. Reed (1886)

The more corrupt the state, the more it legislates. – Tacitus

"Common Sense" Live Free or Die

The Second Amendment is not about hunting; it is a political right. Historic context of the Amendment makes it very clear as to why some thought it necessary to write it into our federal constitution; they wanted it protected, and for good reason.

When the British Empire made its first attempt at quelling our first outburst of liberty, they failed. Why did they fail? It was because we were armed, and may I say, unlike any other people in the world at the time. The British did not expect us to be so uppity and free spirited.

And because of us being armed, we finally, through great difficulty and much dedication of our leaders and patriotic soldiers, gained our independence. That is why the Second Amendment was added to our constitution; that we would always remain a free people beholden to no government for our God given rights and liberties.

Nothing raises the hackles of dictators, tyrants, and oligarchs more than the idea of a substantially armed citizenry.

Disarming present or potential opposition has been the fundamental game plan of murderous rulers since Ancient Egypt and Rome.

From the more complex mass murderers like Adolf Hitler, and Mao, to tin pot lunatics like Idi Amin, the key to seizing power, and then maintaining it, has always been a disarmed opposition.

The late, great Jeff Cooper, the father of modern firearms technique, coined the word “hoplophobe” to describe gun haters and those afraid of guns:

“Well, we know what motivates the hoplophobe. He simply envies the man who can cope where he, the hoplophobe, cannot. A skilled, armed man lives on a plane of security and contentment different from that of others. This is not egalitarian! The man who cannot cut it, envies, fears and sometimes hates the man who can. This is all very clear, it is just a pity that so many people choose to hide their perfidious motivation behind what they claim to be crime control.”
