Patriot Senators Vow to Stop Unconstitutional National Firearms Registration

Senators Rand Paul, Ted Cruz and Mike Lee who provided the most support for the filibuster of the drone program intend to use less dramatic means to block Senate gun control legislation.  The White House is playing the phony sensitivity card to further their liberal fascist gun control agenda.

Let me make it clear; there is NOTHING in this proposed Progressive gun legislation that would have done ANYTHING to stop Newtown or Aurora. Nor will anything in the law stop future criminals and crazies intent on mass shootings.

These gun control measure are intended to curtail legal gun ownership and restrict the Second Amendment civil rights of law abiding citizens.  It takes a legally armed good guy to stop an illegally armed bad guy. PERIOD

The proposals Obama is calling for Congress to pass would serve to reduce the constitutionally protected rights of law-abiding citizens while having little or no effect on violent crime.  In a press release Senator Lee said,  It is deeply unfortunate that he continues to use the tragedy at Newtown as a backdrop for pushing legislation that would have done nothing to prevent that horrible crime. Along with my colleagues Rand Paul of Kentucky and Ted Cruz of Texas, I have informed the Majority Leader that we will exercise our procedural right to require a 60-vote threshold in order to bring any of the presidents proposals to the floor.

“We will oppose the motion to proceed to any legislation that will serve as a vehicle for any additional gun restrictions,” the lawmakers wrote  to Senate Majority Harry Reid, D-Nev., in a letter on Friday.

The White House criticized the Republican senators’ decision. “To tell the families of those who lost their children to gun violence, that votes like this might be filibustered, I don’t think that would be welcome news.”

Senator Cruz raised the specter of a national gun registry in a statement explaining his move. “The Democrats’ proposed legislation would require universal background checks for private sales between law-abiding citizens, which according to DOJ would be effective only if accompanied by a national gun registry,” he said. “This raises serious constitutional issues, and would divert resources from prosecuting felons and fugitives who try to illegally purchase guns.”

Senator Lee refuses to let the left usurp civil rights easily. “Bills that potentially violate Americans’ constitutional rights should at least pass with a bipartisan majority and not be imposed by the majority alone,” communications director Brian Phillips told The Washington Examiner. “That’s why we have these rules in the Senate.”

By requiring a 60-vote threshold to end the debate, the Republican Senators can increase pressure on red-state Democrats who face re-election in 2014. Dirty Harry Reid has been trying to protect them from tough votes on gun control by separating the assault weapons ban from the broader gun package, which allows some lawmakers to vote for the full bill but against the ban. But if the red-state Democrats are needed to overcome the opposition posed by Paul, Lee, and Cruz, they might have to take the kind of vote that could damage them in 2014.

Senators who vote against the interests and principles of the Constitution and their constituents must be held accountable. The proposed legislation would require individuals to keep private records of gun sales they make, FOREVER.  This creates a national gun registry, which is contrary to current federal law and a violation of Second Amendment civil rights.

Sen. Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y., and Sen. Tom Coburn, R-Okla., continue to work on reaching a compromise, but they have yet to produce a bill both sides can agree on.

Ranking Judiciary Committee member Sen. Chuck Grassley, R-Iowa, is working on an alternative bill.  The bill is still being written, and it is an alternative to reduce gun violence, says a spokesman in Grassleys office. Sen. Grassley wants to address gun violence in a manner that does not violate the constitution, which is why he is working on a separate bill.

Control of Social Media by the Progressive Propaganda Machine

Adolph Hitler was the head of state and supreme commander of the armed forces, as well as head of government and of the monopoly party, the NSDAP. Hitler held total power in Germany, unrestricted by any constitutional constraints.

Look familiar? The Progressive Propaganda Machine is working 24/7/365 to control social media.

The United States Constitution is the only obstacle standing between liberty and tyranny in America. The liberal fascist Party in the United States, commonly call the Democrats, spend the bulk of their time and treasure eroding the Bill of Rights while subverting the Constitution.

Their primary weapons of the Left in their war against FREEDOM have been the liberal education system along with the progressive media and entertainment industry.  Progressives know they must control news and information to transform the Republic into the liberal fascist Nanny State.

Between the death of Hindenburg in August 1934 and the expansion into Austria and the Sudetenland four years later Hitler was indeed successful in gaining the backing of the vast majority of the German people, something of immeasurable importance for the disastrous course of German policy ahead.

Despite the absurdity of the election results, amid ballot-rigging, electoral manipulation and intense propaganda to conform according to the official figures 98.9% voted for the Führer. Progressive propaganda machines work.

The primary means of information distribution has changed from main stream to social media.  Today most people are getting their news and information from Social Media and the internet.  Less than 1,000,000 of the 315,000,000 U.S. population watch Rachel Maddow or any MSNBC program on any day.

The Progressive Propaganda machine is using fake accounts on social media to spread their disinformation.

56% of Americans have a profile on a social networking site

76% of Twitter users now post status updates

Twitter users are 33% more likely to be Democrats

40% of Twitter users are Democrats, compared to 30% of the U.S. population overall. The percentage of Republicans and Independents on Twitter mirrors the U.S. average almost precisely.

If youre reading this post, you should seriously considering having an active Twitter and Facebook account. Without push back from patriots, the liberal fascists will continue to fundamentally change and control America.  See 2008 & 2012 presidential election results for details.

Magpul Set to Leave Colorado After Magazine Bill Signed

On Wednesday Gov. John Hickenlooper signed into law a series of gun-control measures in Colorado, most notably HB 1224, which limits ammunition magazines to 15 rounds or less.

Magpul, which has its offices and manufacturing facilities in a nondescript building at 400 Young Court in Erie, warned lawmakers last month that it would leave Colorado if the magazine-limits bill became law. It would be hypocritical, the company has said, for it to remain in a state where it could no longer sell standard-capacity magazines to gun owners.

Company officials posted on the Magpul Facebook page that its move out of state will start almost immediately after HB 1224 becomes law and that we will prioritize moving magazine manufacturing operations first.

We expect the first PMAGs to be made outside (Colorado) within 30 days of the signing, with the rest to follow in phases, the statement reads. We will likely become a multi-state operation as a result of this move, and not all locations have been selected.

Magpul blamed a social agenda from outside the state for the gun-control bills passage but said Colorado residents can fight back against the legislation through recalls, ballot initiatives and the 2014 election. Already, four gun-rights supporters in the state have announced that they will ask voters next year to overturn HB 1224 at the ballot box.

Late last week, the company attempted to convince the governor to veto the bill by hiring Denver law firm Holland & Hart to review the scope of HB 1224 and point out where the legislation overreached. The law firm concluded that the bill effectively: restricts the sale, possession, inheritance and transfer of nearly all firearm magazines, regardless of capacity; will be virtually impossible to implement and enforce; and will constitute one of the most expansive gun bills in the country.

Magpul employs just over 200 people. But there are at least twice that many who work for companies suppliers, subcontractors and service providers that do business with Magpul in the state. Lloyd Lawrence, owner of Denver-based Lawrence Tool & Molding, told the Denver Post in February that it would take jobs and machinery out of the state if Magpul relocates.

The greatest danger to American freedom is a government that ignores the Constitution.

Progressives Hate the NRA - Go Figure?

Progressives are a peculiar bunch.  They spend time and treasure defending freedom of choice.  But their right to choose is usually limited to abortion.  How can a Progressive poster girl Rachel Maddow so passionately support the killing of unborn innocent children night after night on MSNBC, while vigorously protesting the death penalty for murderers of innocents, including children?

Progressives rather vilify the NRA than the KKK.

The NRA was founded in 1871 after the Civil War by Army and Navy Journal editor William Conant Church and General George Wood Wingate of the Union Army, who were both dismayed at the horrible accuracy of Union soldiers during the Civil War. The original purpose of the organization was for rifle marksmanship training.

The NRA is also the oldest civil rights organization in the United States.  While African Americans were being terrorized by the Ku Klux Klan, where the Klan were sometimes aided by local law enforcement, the NRA setup charters to help train local African American communities to be able protect themselves. The most prominent case being in 1960 in Monroe, N.C. where the local National Association for the Advancement of Colored People head Robert Williams also chartered an NRA Rifle Club that successfully defended an assault on one of their leaders homes by the KKK without casualties.

The NRA supports wildlife conservation through efforts to open lands up to managed hunting. For example, under the Pittman-Robertson Act of 1937, proceeds obtained through a tax on hunting firearms and ammo were used specifically to research and rebuild a vast array of wildlife species and habitats.

Today, the NRA continues to seek expansion on these measures. Its worth noting that the proceeds from taxes and licensing go to support the governmental agencies charged with environmental research and conservation management.

The NRA offers training programs for civilians as well as law enforcement. The training programs offered are even recognized by law enforcement as acceptable to fulfill the training requirement for concealed carry licenses (CCW). Today, the NRA has trained over 10,000 police and security firearm instructors and 55,000 certified instructors who in turn train roughly 750,000 people a year.

To date, the organizations Eddie Eagle GunSafe program has reached over 25 million kids. The main message of the program is to teach kids that should they find a firearm that they should stop, dont touch, leave the area, and tell an adult.

A December 2012 Gallup poll, revealed that 54% of Americans held a favorable view of the NRA, while 38% have an unfavorable view. Putting this in perspective, the most recent Gallup poll shows Obama holds a 49% approval rating, while 45% disapprove.

According to FactCheck.org, nearly half of the funding for the NRA comes from membership dues alone. Voluntary donations to the NRA, however, still account for a majority portion of the remaining funding. This includes voluntary donations made during gun purchases at the point of sale as well as programs like the round-up campaign, operated by the NRA-ILA and retailers, where consumers can round a purchase up to the nearest dollar for donation to support lobbying efforts.

The NRAs current stance on gun control is to enforce existing laws more aggressively. In 2008, in response to the Virgina Tech shooting, the NRA helped to pass the NICS Improvement Act, which would provide increased funding and grants to states to report vital information to the National Instant Background Check System (NICS), such as mental health. The NICS is used for background checks of potential gun buyers. Unfortunately, the system has been woefully under funded (receiving only 5.3% of the authorized funding) and reporting has been lackluster. In addition, the NRA has pointed out that those who lie on their background checks when purchasing firearms are for the most part not prosecuted. In response to this, Vice President Biden claimed that they dont have the time to prosecute such violations, which, by the way, carries a minimum 5 year federal sentence, if convicted under the Gun Control Act of 1968.

Yet, Biden and the Progressives who are protected 24/7/365 by armed security are calling for MORE gun control laws that target law abiding citizens?  Thats Progressive logic.

Heres some legitimate logic: (reasoning conducted or assessed according to strict principles of validity)

Second Amendment Musket Myth Debunked by Supreme Court

Some media outlets have incorrectly characterized what U.S. Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX) said at yesterday’s Judiciary Committee mark-up on guns. In particular, some commentators have attacked a straw-man, falsely claiming Cruz argued the Heller v. DC case did not allow any restrictions at all under the Second Amendment.

What Sen. Cruz said was directly to the contrary, as this hearing clip demonstrates:

Senator Cruz said Heller makes clear that laws prohibiting weapons “in common use” for self-defense are unconstitutional. Thus, under Heller “dangerous and unusual” weapons—like fully automatic machine guns and sawed-off shotguns—can be restricted, but weapons like so-called “assault weapons” which are undoubtedly “in common use” (with over 4 million owned by Americans) cannot.

@piersmorgan on Twitter:
The 2nd amendment was devised with muskets in mind, not high-powered handguns & assault rifles. Fact.

Progressives think of themselves as iintellectual elites but most of us know them as America’s biggest hypocrites.  We constantly hear them echo the likes of Piers Morgan with their the Second Amendment only protects muskets liberal fascist propaganda.

So First Amendment free speech on applies to a soap box on a street corner and freedom of the press only applies to a printing press? 🍀

The Founding Fathers knew a government can’t control the economy without controlling people. And they knew when a government sets out to do that, it must use force and coercion to achieve its purpose. So we have come to a time for choosing. -Ronald Reagan -October 27, 1964
