Bonzer Wolf Today™

One of the ordinary modes, by which tyrants accomplish their purposes without resistance, is, by disarming the people, and making it an offense to keep arms. Constitutional scholar and Supreme Court Justice Joseph Story, 1840

Restriction of free thought and free speech is the most dangerous of all subversion. It is the one un-American act that could most easily defeat us. - Justice William O. Douglas

We must carry arms because we value our lives and those of our loved ones, because we will not be dealt with by force or threat of force, and do not live at the pleasure and discretion of the lawless. - Jeff Snyder

Bonzer Wolf retired from Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) with over 30 years of federal service on August 3, 2008.  The Wolf began his federal career at the lowest grade level in the government, a GS/2 clerk at FBI Headquarters in Washington D.C.  On May 17, 1976, he transferred to the U.S. Secret Service and was assigned as a Uniformed Officer at the White House.

Bonzer left the Uniformed Secret Service to finish college, while working full time as a police officer with the Savannah-Chatham County Metropolitan Police.  Bonzer earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Criminal Justice from Armstrong Atlantic University in 1980.

He was hired as a special agent with the U.S. Department of State, Bureau of Diplomatic Security and assigned to the Diplomatic Security Service field office in Dallas, Texas in December, 1980. During his tenure with the Department of State, he was assigned to protective details all over the United States and in 14 foreign countries. Bonzer conducted investigations for the Department in Texas and Oklahoma until 1983 when he transferred to the Department of the Treasury, IRS Inspection Service as a criminal investigator. That office is now know as of the Treasury Department Office of the Inspector General for Tax Administration.

In February 1987 Bonzer transferred to the United States Customs Service Office of Investigations in Dallas. He spent most of his career investigating financial crimes including money laundering, fraud, smuggling, strategic, munitions and other violations of federal law. Mr. Wolf worked as a Customs Senior Special Agent until March 2003.

In 2003, President George W. Bush proposed and Congress created the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) as a knee jerk reaction to the September 11, 2001 World Trade Center terrorist attack. DHS is called the Department of Homeland Stupidity by many seasoned bureaucrats. The best day of Bonzers five year tenure with the fledgling Department was the first day. Each and everyday after was worse than the day before. The two happiest days working for the feds was the day Bonzer was hired and the day he retired! Mr. Wolf retired at 5 p.m.CDT on August 3, 2008.

The U.S. Customs Service, which was created by the second act of Congress in 1789 was unceremoniously abolished by the formation of DHS. Customs special agents (criminal investigators) were transferred to an agency called the Bureau of Immigration and Customs Enforcement. Inspectors now called Officers and Border Patrol agents formed the core of the new Bureau of Customs and Border Protection, another agency under DHS.

Neither the bureaucrats nor the politicians are willing to admit that the creation of DHS was a mistake. As a result, the United States is less safe from terrorism than it was prior to September 11, 2001.  My agency settled on the acronym ICE, hoping to change to name to DHS Investigations and Criminal Enforcement. But the FBI Director vetoed that idea almost immediately.

Almost 3 years after the agency was formed new badges were issued to the former INS and Customs agents at ICE.  The new badges were inscribed with ICE. There was no mention of Immigration or Customs or even Enforcement on the badge.  Immigration and Customs Enforcement became the answer to the trivia question; What is the ONLY law enforcement agency in the United States not to have their complete agency name displayed on their badges? The one and only ICE!

ICE should not be confused with the International Commodity Exchange or frozen water or a form of crack cocaine, all of which were known as ICE long before DHS decided to create a federal agency with the same name.

Former Customs & INS agents became ICE special agents, whose prinary mission was rounding up undocumented Hispanics working at meat & poultry processing plants in America.  In 2009, Immediately after Obama was sworn in as President, ICE work site enforcement was completely shut down. Now thousands of ICE agents across the United States sit around doing little to nothing while collecting six figure incomes.

One June 9, 2010 ICE announced that it was re-branding. It appears the ICE age is over and now ICE special agents are assigned to Homeland Security Investigations and are being branded as HSI agents. http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-srv/hp/ssi/wpc/MortonMessage.pdf

Bonzer Wolf contributed to the federal Law Enforcement(6c) Civil Service Retirement System. Under CSRS 6c retirement, criminal investigators reached mandatory retirement age on their 55th birthday.  CSRS was closed to new participants on January 1,1984 and replaced by FERS. Mandatory retirement age is now 57.

Retirement is a great job! Mr. Wolf stays busy traveling, playing poker and enjoying life! Apart from poker, he plays other online casino games in his free time, mostly using attractive bonus deals like this exclusive 100% bonus + 200 free spins at the best Canadian online casinos. This blog is testament that Bonzer is now outside the reach of bureaucratic retaliation. FREEDOM is the greatest benefit both of living in the United States and being retired.

The Federal bureaucracy changed drastically between 1976-2008. Unfortunately the changes were not for the best. More taxes and new government revenue streams are constantly being proposed to pay for more and more federal programs and bureaucrats. The continued expansion of the federal government is the biggest single problem our nation faces. We have become the United Nanny State of America. Our beloved Republic has moved from the model of capitalism to the disaster of the Marxist Obamanation. The trillion dollar stimulus and ObamaCare have accelerated the rapid decline of our Republic.

Bonzer Wolf is a Libertarian, which means I follow the U.S. Constitution, the Supreme Law of the Land.  Being employed by the federal government for over three decades, proved to me beyond any doubt, that we are no longer the Constitutional government of our founding fathers. Our country is in crisis because of the actions of both the Democrat and Republican parties. Independent voters and the Tea Party movement seem to be only hope for a return to the Constitutional Republic, created by the founding fathers.

My philosophy, in essence, is the concept of man as a heroic being, with his own happiness as the moral purpose of his life, with productive achievement as his noblest activity, and reason as his only absolute. —Ayn Rand, Atlas Shrugged 35th anniversary edition.

Government at all levels, but especially, the Federal government, is too large, too expensive, woefully inefficient, arrogant, intrusive, and downright dangerous. Democratic and Republican politicians have created the status quo and do not intend to change it.
